The Rear Base Stabilizer adds serious stability to your power rack. It also makes a fine seat to ponder the deepest questions in life like, "Is sumo really cheating?"
The Hydra version fits the Hydra power rack line-up and select non-B.o.S. 49-inch wide racks with true 3" x 3" uprights & 1" holes - with two of those uprights holes spaced 6" apart.
The Manticore version fits the Manticore power rack line-up and select non-B.o.S. 49-inch wide racks with true 3" x 3" uprights & 1-inch holes - with two of those uprights holes spaced 6" apart.
IMPORTANT: If you have a non-B.o.S rack, please ensure your tubing matches the above specs for a correct fit.

I HAD a Rogue HR-2 half rack. I swapped in longer Hydra foot pieces so I could more easily bench inside with straps. The rear foot from original rack didn’t have a great place to reinstall, and it would have limited how far in the bench could go. Added this Hydra rear stabilizer instead. It took a little effort to install, including making sure the uprights were the right distance apart. It REALLY firmed up the rear AND front uprights, especially regarding their ability to sway side to side. Like 90% less sway.

I have a four post rack with 24” crossmembers that I use as a half rack. Even withblots of plates stored on the rack, I found my rack (from the Other Imperial 3x3 Brand) had a little more side to side play than I’d like. Enter the BoS rear base stabilizer.
This thing is snug to get on, but once in place, removes any side to side movement on your rack. With 1” holes throughout, it also becomes a great place for storing rack attachments that aren’t in use. That the RBS extends backwards means it doesn’t take up any precious room inside the rack, either. Just wish it came in custom colors to match my white powder coat!

It would be great if there were holes along the angled pieces to allow weight storage. I ended up drilling my own, but from factory would be a great touch. Otherwise, it does what it should!

Nice little upgrade to my monster rack.i got it to make the rack rock solid as i do a lot of dips on it.also a great place to store my dip bars.. i also use it to do push ups by placing my handles at whatever width i like and elevate my feet on a bench as well as tricep dips.
