April is the kind of month where the early-year noise dies down and real training habits start to compound.
The people still showing up are the ones doing the work and that energy showed up loud and clear across the BoS community this month.
Garages got busier, basements got loaded heavier, and submissions for April Home Gym of the Week kept rolling in.
This month's three featured setups are pure proof that purposeful spaces breed purposeful work and each winner walked away with a $50 gift card to keep building.
Winner #1 – Neal Barrina

Neal's home gym is a great example of what happens when a space is built with serious training in mind. Tucked into a garage with dark walls and a wood-beam ceiling, the room is lit by clean LED tube fixtures that give the whole space a focused, almost studio-like feel.
Every piece chosen for a reason, every reason tied to performance. It's the kind of setup that doesn't waste space or steps. Walk in, warm up, get to work.

Winner #2 – Moe El-Akash

Moe's basement gym is a study in keeping things essential. At the heart of it sits a Manticore power rack dialed in with J-cups and spotter arms, paired with a flat bench positioned for pressing inside the rig. Bumper plates are stacked tight to the rack base, keeping everything within arm's reach.
It's a setup built around a simple idea: everything you need, nothing you don't. And it shows.

Winner #3 – Lee Engeswick

Lee's basement gym was built around one very specific goal — lifting the Dinnie Stones.
The centerpiece is a Manticore Four Post Power Rack, and the space is loaded with everything needed to support the work. Natural light filters in through a small window, balancing the cooler grey walls.
It's a goal-driven setup with no wasted real estate, purpose-built training, end to end.
